Frequently Asked Questions About Packaging Quality Control
Answers to common questions about quality inspection for custom packaging projects.
How does GOOINPACK control quality for custom packaging?
GOOINPACK applies quality checks throughout the production process, including incoming materials, printing, structure, finishing, assembly, final inspection and pre-shipment preparation. The exact checkpoints depend on the approved specifications and requirements of each project.
What does packaging quality inspection include?
Depending on the project, inspection can include dimensions, materials, structural accuracy, printing, color appearance, surface condition, finishing, inserts, magnetic closures, assembly and overall packaging appearance.
Does GOOINPACK inspect packaging before shipment?
Yes. Finished packaging is reviewed against the approved sample, specifications and agreed production requirements before shipment. Production photos or other confirmation materials can be provided when required by the project.
Does quality control differ between rigid boxes and magnetic boxes?
Yes. Different packaging structures require different inspection priorities. Magnetic boxes can require additional checks for magnetic closure, alignment, opening and structural fit, while rigid boxes may place greater emphasis on construction, wrapping, dimensions and surface appearance.
Can packaging quality requirements be specified before production?
Yes. Packaging specifications, approved samples, artwork, dimensions, materials, finishing requirements and other project-specific quality criteria can be established before mass production.
What certifications and verification information does GOOINPACK provide?
GOOINPACK provides documented information relating to ISO 9001, FSC certification, Intertek factory audit verification and Bureau Veritas supplier verification. Relevant documentation can be reviewed during supplier evaluation and project discussions.
Can GOOINPACK provide quality-control information for a specific packaging project?
Yes. Buyers can provide packaging dimensions, structure, materials, artwork, reference samples, finishing requirements and other specifications so that the relevant inspection points can be discussed and confirmed for the project.
